Is this democracy??

i would like all of you to have a look at a recent issue that made me angry about the system.it was reported by many national media especially ndtv.the incident happened in tamil nadu on 7th january 2010.a sub inspector of police was attacked by some goons.they slashed his legs off!!.
hurt badly the inspector vetrivel was lying in pool of blood when health minister paneershelvam and another minister mohideen khan came through this way.neither of them stepped out of their car nor made any efforts to help the dying.the bleeding inspector was out there crying for help this time.it was only 29 minutes later,he was taken to hospital..but he had lost most of the blood by that time that he lost his life on the way.this incident was a very shocking thing.2 public servants that too ministers with lots of vested powers mocking a man who was pleading for his life..it was too shameful and injustifiable.if this is a situation of a police officer then what would be that of a common man with no higher contacts or powers.these types of incidents laydown the morale of the entire police force and they would surely believe that ther is no one to help them when attacked by such goondas..which will eventually prevent them from taking any action against them in future.
these ministers should be changed or proper actions should be taken against them...else it would be a demise to the total democratic system in this country.people should respond to such issues strongly rather keeping mum.how could such barbarians be allowed to rule us who shows less humanity.........

ക്യാമ്പസ്‌ പൊളിറ്റിക്സ്:തിങ്ക്‌!

i have to say something about campus politics..,since am in students federation of india college committee.in these days i could hear from various corners about the bad impacts of politics in colleges and how they make students violent in their attitude.but i strongly oppose this view, since the facts such people might present before you are 80 percent their prejudistic view...and truth is much beyond that...its true that the value and truth in politics are diminishing nowadays, but this doesnt mean that we should avoid politics from our life and live wholly as a metropolitan tecknocrat.indians especially youth should discuss politics its right actions wrong actions and everything.they should mentally create an awareness about our country, its long struggles for freedom and hardships faced by so called old leaders.our youth should be vibrant and reactive towards various issues or they need to be.today as i read newspapers i found that many terrorist activities, bomb blasts etc ...are organised by so called the educated youth...we need to understand that these antisocial and anti national activities are done with the help of upcoming youth. militants and terrorist groups and various religious fundamentalist groups are acting through our colleges and they are trapping these students in their idiotic ideology.if a good student organisation is there i strongly believe that this will not happen.a good student organisation gives a student ideas about secularism, democracy and keeps him in matured state.
